In the heart of Sonoma Valley lies a treasure—Little Switzerland. People have been dancing at this tree-shaded crossroads since 1906 when it was a popular gathering place for Europeans. Polka musicians and dancers packed the place every weekend.

In April of 1970 , Tony and Alina Garcia set eyes on one another across the dance floor, fell in love and were married. Thirty years later, they bought the place. Traditional polka music continues to attract visitors from all over the country. Alina expanded the music styles offered to include Cajun and Zydeco, its accordion fitting in nicely with her t-shirt which reads "Little Switzerland, Where Accordian Players Stay Up All Night". GatorBeat plays there regularly and Little Switzerland was their first choice for a live recording (CD: Gimme Some Mo').
